Walking through the paved streets of Montsonís is to immerse oneself in a world where common reality ceases to be. It's a jump in time, a well-preserved black-hole which roots its life philosophy in the past. Proof of it is that its castle, a fortress built in 1024, still retains that aroma of living history that its proprietors have taken great care to preserve in the small details from the period. These might go by unnoticed, were it not for the guided tours. The itineraries are not only meant to bring back its history, but they also let one understand, or at least guess, how daily life was led in the castle, what were the customs, trades, duties, and clothes of the period.
