... Or Better: By Steam
The steam train is poetry in motion. One of the most beautiful and romantic means of traditional transport in all history, it has been revived by different entities as an original and nostalgic way to delve into the heart of natural Lleida. A period train hauled by an old steam locomotive affords unique routes and itineraries. There are several points of departure in the different Lleidatan comarcas, as well as trips exclusively for schoolchildren, associations, or elderly people.

Montclar is peaceful and quiet, sunk in one of Catalonia's most important regions in terms of nature and history. Its cultural heritage is overwhelming, scores of historic monuments are still on foot. What stands out the most is the presence of more than twenty Romanic churches scattered around the outskirts of the village, as well as the natural surroundings, which are ideal for trekking, nature-watching, and adventure sports.
