Location
Montclar is located midway between the villages of Agramunt and Artesa de Segre, in the comarca of Urgell, province of Lleida. The town is peaceful and quiet, sunk in one of Catalonia's most important regions in terms of nature and history. Its cultural heritage is overwhelming, scores of historic monuments are still on foot. What stands out the most is the presence of more than twenty Romanic churches scattered around the outskirts of the village, as well as the natural surroundings, which are ideal for trekking, nature-watching, and adventure sports.
